Claude Pro limits: fine for solo work, tight for pairing. For my day-to-day solo coding Claude Pro is plenty. The moment I try to use it for a full pairing session with a teammate watching, we blow through it in under two hours.

Is anyone else capped out by lunch on Claude Pro? Started a refactor this morning, hit the Claude Pro cap by 1pm. I get that inference isn't free, but the messaging around what actually counts against the limit is still pretty opaque.

Claude Sonnet (Sonnet 4.5) finally caught up on reasoning-heavy tasks. Used to reach for a different provider for anything involving multi-step logic. Not anymore — Claude Sonnet (Sonnet 4.5) handles it natively now.

Claude Code's tool-calling for running tests is solid. It runs the test suite after changes, reads the failures, and iterates without me having to copy-paste output back in. That loop alone is worth the subscription.

Anyone benchmarked context recall on Claude Opus (Opus 4.5) vs the last version? Doing a large migration and Claude Opus (Opus 4.5) keeps 're-discovering' files it already read this session, re-reading them instead of trusting its own earlier summary. Feels like effective context is smaller than advertised.

Context retention got worse after the Claude Opus (Opus 4.5) update. Not sure if it's a real regression or just my imagination, but I'm noticing more hallucinated function signatures for code we discussed 30 minutes earlier in the same session.
